Preparing for such an expedition (according to us of course, and especially the route on the North American plate) does not only include the gathering of time, money, two bikes and routes, but also needs a decent outdoor experience. So, you have to get out to have that wet nose before you go, and if it’s not testing your equipment, you can at least test your relationship ! We did.
