North Cape 2007

On the 22 of June 2007, Michiel took off with his dad for three weeks of cycling around the Artic Circle, trying to reach the North Cape in Norway (71º N). We started in Helsinki, took the train to Rovaniemi, and from there we biked all the way up to the North Cape via the river of Ounasjsoki-Inari-the Tana River at the border Finland-Norway-Karasjok-Lakselv-Olderfjord-Honningsvag to the Nordkapp. From there, we took public transport via Alta-Narvik-Svolvaer (bus and boat) to reach A on Lofoten. We crossed magnificent Lofoten and Vesteralen completely by bike all the way into Tromso. The final destination of a great holiday !
